There are two kinds of Detention:
- Regular Detention-This is the regular detention served in every school in every
country from America to Iceland... Sit at the desk, do some sort of retarded assignment to waste an hour of your time and be punished for whatever it is you
shouldn't have done.
- Cerebral Detention- This is a much harsher form of detention found only at Mutant
Schools, if at all outside of Xavier Institute. THIS IS ONLY USED FOR MAJOR RULE BREAKING! Unless the students have been unruly and it's deemed necessary
to prove a point.
- In Cerebral detention, the mind is altered by the teacher, always a telepath, who is residing
over this form of detention.
- The student finds themselves in a Solid white anesthetic room, 4 walls, floor and ceiling, No windows, no doors. No paintings
no decor.
- The student is forced to think about what they did wrong,
- Why they are being punished
- And how they could have avoided it.
- THEIR THOUGHTS CANNOT STRAY! No matter how strong willed they are!
- They are only allowed memories of the WORDS they cannot picture the incident. All they see is the Solid white room surrounding them.
How do I know which I am serving?
The teacher on duty will inform you of the type of detention you are to serve before it begins.
How do I know when I serve Detention?
If a student receives detention, Ms. Frost (in her absence another Admin) will call them on the intercom the day that it is to be served by that student. USUALLY the next Weekday following the infraction.
When is Detention Held?
Detention is held Monday through Friday 3 PM After classes is the usual time. If it is delayed or canceled for some reason, Ms. Frost will alert the students who are to serve.
How long does detention last?
Well, GT it lasts an Hour, however, we only require each student to post TWICE after Detention's begun. This will be signaled by the teacher in charge, and after each character has posted twice, the teacher will release the students from detention.
If a student fails to post twice in detention, they will not be released, and Detention will not be removed from the record until they have done so.
What if I miss detention?
If a student fails to come to detention, they will recieve double detention. 1 hour= 2 hours. The only excuse
acceptable is from the Headmaster, other Admins, or Infirmary. Your Detention will be rescheduled for the following session.
